Indulge in the rich and exquisite flavors of our Creamy White Chicken Qorma. This delightful recipe brings together tender chicken, aromatic spices, and a luscious blend of ingredients to create a dish that is both comforting and elegant.
Ingredients: Chicken, bone-in, skinless pieces Yogurt, whisked Onions, finely sliced Garlic-ginger paste Cashews, soaked Almonds, blanched Fresh cream Ghee or cooking oil Green cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon Bay leaves White pepper Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions: Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic-ginger paste, and a pinch of white pepper. Marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for at least 1 hour. Prepare Nut Paste: Blend soaked cashews and blanched almonds into a smooth paste. Sauté Onions: In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee or oil. Sauté finely sliced onions until they turn golden brown. Cook Marinated Chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it's lightly browned. Add Aromatic Spices: Toss in green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaves. Stir well to infuse the aroma.
Describe Nut Paste:
Toss in the cashew-almond paste that has been mixed. Sauté the oil until it begins to separate.
Add New Cream:
To make the Qorma even richer, add some fresh cream. Gently stir.
Melt into Perfection:
To make sure the chicken is soft and the flavors combine, let the Qorma simmer over low heat.
Modify the seasoning:
Add salt to taste to season. If need, adjust the white pepper.
Serve and garnish:
For a splash of freshness, sprinkle in some fresh coriander leaves.
