Smash burger taco recipe

 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 pound of ground beef with an 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio is needed for the Smash Burger.


  • To taste, add salt and pepper.
  • Four pieces of American cheese
  • One cup of finely chopped lettuce
  • one cup of tomatoes, chopped
  • Cuts of pickles
  • Buns with sesame seeds

Regarding the Special Sauce:

  • one-half cup mayonnaise
  • Two tsp of ketchup
  • One tablespoon of relish, sweet pickles
  • One tsp white vinegar
  • One tsp sugar
  • Half a teaspoon of powdered onion
  • half a teaspoon of powdered garlic

Regarding the Tacos:

  • little flour tortillas

Instructions:

1. Get the Special Sauce ready.

  • Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, white vinegar, and sweet pickle relish in a basin.
  • While you make the delicious burgers, keep the sauce chilled.

2. Smash Burgers:
 
  • Using small quantities of ground beef, form them into balls.
  • A skillet or griddle should be heated to medium-high heat.

  • Use pepper and salt to season each beef ball.
  • To form a thin patty, place a ball on the heated surface and press it down right away with a spatula.
  • Cook until well-seared, 1 to 2 minutes per side.
  • Melt a slice of American cheese over each patty in the last minute of cooking.
  • For every smash burger, follow the same procedure.

3. Put the tacos together by reheating the wheat tortillas:

  • Top each tortilla with a slice of the melted cheese-topped smashed burger.

  • Top with pickle slices, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and a dab of the special sauce.
  • To form the taco, fold the tortillas.

4. Present and Savor:
