Instructions:

Get the strawberries ready:

Carefully clean, pit, and cut the fresh strawberries. Transfer them to a bowl and lightly dust with 1/4 cup sugar. Pour in the lemon juice and mix to coat the strawberries. Allow them to sit for fifteen to twenty minutes or until their fluids come out.

Mix the Strawberries:

Once the strawberries have become soft, move them to a food processor or blender. Process until a smooth purée is achieved. If you'd like, you can leave some tiny chunks for texture.

Get the ice cream base ready:

Mix the remaining 1/2 cup sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and a small pinch of salt in a mixing dish and whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

Mix the Ice Cream Base with the Strawberry Puree:

To the ice cream base, add the strawberry puree. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.

Cool the Blend:

Place a lid on the bowl and chill the mixture for a minimum of two to three hours or overnight. This enables the mixture to cool completely for the flavors to mingle.

Work up the ice cream.

After the liquid has cooled completely, transfer it to an ice cream maker and process it in accordance with the manufacturer's directions. Usually, this takes twenty to twenty-five minutes.

Move to a Container:

Pour the churned ice cream into a container with a cover.

 Freeze till solid:

Once the ice cream achieves the appropriate hardness, freeze it for at least 4–6 hours, covered in the container.

Present and Savor:

Put the strawberry ice cream in cones or dishes by scooping it. If desired, garnish with fresh strawberries.

Perfect for any time of year, this homemade strawberry ice cream is a wonderful and refreshing treat!
