Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts for the marinade
- half a pound, or 225 grams huge, deveined and peeled shrimp
- one-fourth cup olive oil
- three tsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- two tsp of juice from fresh oranges
- two minced garlic cloves
- One teaspoon of cumin powder
- One tsp of chili powder
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
For preparing food:
- two tsp butter
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- Finely chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- slices of lime (for serving)

Instructions:
- Get the marinade ready:
Mix the olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, ground cumin, chili powder, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Give the shrimp and chicken a marinade.
Put the shrimp and chicken breasts in shallow bowls or individual zip-top bags.
Drizzle the chicken with half of the marinade and the shrimp with the other half.
To allow the flavors to mingle, cover the dishes or seal the bags, then chill for at least half an hour.
2. Prepare the chicken:
Add one tablespoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of butter to a large skillet set over medium-high heat.
After taking the chicken out of the marinade, grill it for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it is done.
After cooking, take the chicken out of the skillet and give it some time to rest before slicing.
4. Prepare the Shrimp:
Add the marinated shrimp to the same skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until they become opaque and pink.
5. Serve:
Place the shrimp and chicken slices on a serving plate.
Serve with lime wedges on the side and garnish with chopped cilantro.
