Ingredients:
- One cup of flour for all purposes
- Two teaspoons of sugar, granulated
- One-third tsp baking powder
- Half a teaspoon of salt

- One big egg
- Two tablespoons of melted unsalted butter

Instructions:
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt thoroughly in a sizable mixing bowl.
- Beat the egg, melted butter, and milk together in a another bowl until smooth.
- Mixing until just mixed, pour the wet components into the dry ingredients. It's normal to have some lumps in the batter; just take care not to overmix.
- Grease a non-stick skillet or griddle with butter or oil and heat it over medium heat.
- For each pancake, add 1/4 cup of batter to the skillet. Cook for two to three minutes, or until bubbles appear on the pancake's surface and its edges begin to firm.
- After flipping, heat for a further one to two minutes, or until the pancakes are cooked through and golden brown.
- Grease the skillet if necessary, then repeat with the remaining batter, transferring the cooked pancakes to a plate.
