Homemade cajun chicken burgers

 



Ingredients:

  • Regarding Cajun Spice:
  • One tablespoon of paprika


  • One spoonful of powdered garlic
  • One tablespoon of powdered onion
  • One tsp thyme and one tsp oregano
  • One teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more or less to taste
  • One tsp salt
  • One tsp black pepper

Regarding chicken burgers:

  • One and a half pounds of ground chicken
  • half a cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • two tsp Cajun spice (adjust according to taste)
  • One egg
  • To taste, add salt and pepper.
  • Extra virgin olive oil (for cooking)

  • Red onion, lettuce, tomato, and any additional toppings you choose

Instructions:

Seasoning for Cajun food:

Combine Spices: Combine the paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, and oregano in a small bowl with salt and black pepper. Put aside.

Burgers made with chicken:

Warm up the pan or grill:


Heat a pan or your grill to a medium-high temperature.



Get the burger mix ready: 

Ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Cajun seasoning, egg, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a big bowl. Blend until thoroughly blended.

Shaped Patties:


Make equal quantities of the mixture and form them into burger patties.

Prepare the patties:

Apply a little layer of olive oil to every patty. Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they have a lovely golden crust and an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), on a prepared grill or pan.

Toast Buns:

Burger buns can be toasted in a toaster or on a grill in the final minute of cooking.


Burger Assemble:

Every cooked patty should go on a bun. Add your preferred toppings, including lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and sauces.
